getting away with it!

college the two way street either you party and sometimes you show up to class while never bringing homework or even paper to class or you study and on other hand others are in class everyday does everything the teacher asks homework, papers, and notes. Form this statement you would think the ones who show up to class everyday does better on test and pass the class with a higher grade. not necessary its usually the other why around and the only way of fixing a problem like this is to not just make the class all about test spread it around with some home work, papers and attendants. though this method i think that the slackers in the class will either have to step it up or just fail.

Dead man walking

Dead man walking was an emotional play it had times of laughter and time of tears. For me it didn't change my view of the death penalty it persuaded it more for it, after listing to the victims parents side of the story. It was a tragedy to hear that they lost there only son or knowing their daughter was raped. so attending plays and other activities that the college provides has presuaded my believes one way or the other it has also it has made some of my beliefs stronger.

Mountain day has been a tradition since 1900. I think it’s a very important aspect here at Lees McRae not only is it a day to help the community but it’s a day that we can become close as a family. Also most of the time the things people do or how they react to something has came from their culture. Almost like most cultures in the US celebrate Christmas but then it depends on your religion. There are also things like food that has came from people culture that some people see as nasty but if you have been raised that way it’s the way you know. So this is why I see mountain day a impact day at lees McRae.
